Software introduction

Just over a month ago Bethesda made a lot of people's day by announcing the open beta of The Elder Scrolls: Legends. The only saddening thing was that it was for PC players only, leaving a few mobile users with broken hearts. According to a recent interview with Bethesda's Pete Hines, however, we could be getting a mobile release pretty damn soon.

In PC Gamer's interview, Hines talks about the progress being made with the game. "We could call it launched right now if we wanted to," Hines says before going on to talk about what else is still to come. It seems like Bethesda's got a ton of plans and ideas for card expansions and packs to bring out, including monthly reward cards.

Hines also comments on when the magic day is predicted to arrive but he stood firm in that the game won't be officially released until it's ready for tablets. "-the point in which we're ready to release it to tablets, we'll pull the beta label off of PC and it'll be 1.0. We're getting really close-"

So it looks as though things are progressing nicely on Bethesda's end, mainly entering a stage of buffing, tweaking, and polishing. Hines confidently predicts that it won't be much later into autumn before we see The Elder Scrolls: Legends on iPad and Android tablets and with an official release on PC.

"I'm so glad the sun will shine on me," she thought happily.
Castlevania Grimoire of Souls is the latest entry in the Castlevania series and it's heading exclusively to mobile. Announced really at the Tokyo Game Show the game will be coming to both Android and iOS, though there's no set release date yet.

The game's narrative will focus on Genya Arikado who made his first appearance Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. At the start of Grimoire of Souls, he receives a letter telling him the Grimoires have awoken and that his help is desperately needed. Now Genya is apparently a nice enough bloke as he heads off to provide aid.

You won't be limited to only playing as Genya though. Grimoire of Souls' whole schtick is that you can play as several of the series characters in the game. A few examples include Alucard, Simon Belmont and Maria Renard.

iOS has become a platform for huge ports lately and one of the biggest one last year was Rome: Total War, the iconic RTS that lets you command an empire in both real-time and turn-based actions.

Furthermore, the port was masterfully done by Feral Interactive and we thought it was "Impressive on every level, strategy and tactics, scale and presentation, despite the odd rough edge from porting". Ahead of its next standalone expansion, Rome: Total War Barbarians, Feral has dropped the price of this mammoth-sized RTS to €/$/£7.99 which is a bargain for the amount of content that you get.

    &#;Coloring battle(No Ads)A KING, whose only son was fond of martial exercises, had a dream in which he was warned that his son would be killed by a lion. Afraid the dream should prove true, he built for his son a pleasant palace and adorned its walls for his amusement with all kinds of life-sized animals, among which was the picture of a lion. When the young Prince saw this, his grief at being thus confined burst out afresh, and, standing near the lion, he said: "O you most detestable of animals! through a lying dream of my father's, which he saw in his sleep, I am shut up on your account in this palace as if I had been a girl: what shall I now do to you?' With these words he stretched out his hands toward a thorn tree, meaning to cut a stick from its branches so that he might beat the lion. But one of the tree's prickles pierced his finger and caused great pain and inflammation, so that the young Prince fell down in a fainting fit. A violent fever suddenly set in, from which he died not many days later.&#;

Swedish game studios Image & Form and Zoink! Games have joined up to create Thunderful, an indie game conglomerate of sorts that will see the two studios tinkering away at their own, independent projects while pooling their collective resources.Image & Form CEO Brjann Sigurgeirsson will also be taking up the helm as CEO of Thunderful. He noted that the two companies already work together closely, and are hoping the new, official partnership will allow them to work together on much bigger projects.

You’ll know Image & Form from the positively delightful SteamWorld series. Most recently we gave SteamWorld Dig 2 a Gold Award when it launched over the summer. Zoink! Games has crafted indies like Stick it to the Man! and Zombie Vikings, though their upcoming project Fe looks pretty spectacular (you can scope out the trailer below), and could be one of their most ambitious titles yet.The world of video games could always use more cool, creative projects, and these two teams have been doing some strong work in the indie space. If this partnership can produce more original games like SteamWorld Dig on a grander scale, we’re definitely all for it. What are your thoughts?

SuperPlanet, the folks behind the very popular Evil Hunter Tycoon, is back with another idle RPG that'll be heading for iOS and Android on July 27th. This one is called Idle Guardians: Never Die where players will be upgrading and recruiting a host of the titular guardians.

These guardians will increase in power in several different ways. The first is through a standard levelling system, whilst they can also be improved using Dragon Stones, which are acquired through Rebirth. Some of this progression will only be available guardians that are either 4 or 5-stars.

There are over 160 characters to unlock, with each having their own skills and characteristics. Once players have assembled their preferred team from this huge roster of heroes there will be several areas for them to tackle such as the Pyramid, which gives better rewards the higher the level you manage to reach.

Elsewhere, there's also Guardian's Creed: Gray Flag which is a ship where players do battle at sea and Demon World, where players can obtain various pets that will provide them with important buffs. Finally, there's also a spot of PVP to enjoy through Guild War as well as Boss Raids that you can face with fellow guildmates.
One Punch Man: Road to Hero 2.0 review - "Just knock me out, please"
Naturally, as this is an idle RPG, the guardians will continue to fight and therefore farm resources even when the game is not open.
Hot off the heels of its success in Taiwan and South Korea, Skypeople Inc’s epic fantasy RPG Final Blade has now launched globally on the App Store and Google Play. It’s perhaps of little surprise that the game launched in association with Glohow has already amassed 300,000 pre-registered users, given its lush visuals, rewarding in-game events, and expansive narrative.

Those of you who’ve played your fair share of RPGs will find that many of the genre’s most popular mechanics are present and accounted for, from rewarding loot drops to deep skill systems. And, of course, there are plenty of unique modes for you to test your mettle on, such as Black Gold, an intense heist mode of sorts.

That being said, it might be best if you enter the Adventure Mode before getting into any of that. Here, you’ll take on a series of story-driven missions that slowly reveal the numerous secrets and backstories of the game’s diverse range of characters. On top of the layered gameplay, Final Blade also offers some frequently dazzling visuals and environmental designs.

Post launch, the developer is planning 5 enticing events, where you’ll be able to pick up some of the rarest in-game items available. All you’re going to have to do for the first event is log into the game – it’s that simple, and it’ll reward you with some mighty helpful items. If your craving for the best loot is proving to be insatiable, the Hero’s Journey Event might be the quickest way of amassing the best rewards around.

The Valentine Event is also quite extensive, with missions where the goal is to collect chocolate that can then be traded for 5 or 6-star heroes. For a better chance at getting G6 Shadow, the legendary marksman, I’d suggest you keep an eye out for the Hero Summon Rate Event. And then there’s the Conquest Adventure Mode – the toughest of the bunch. With this one, you’ll need to adhere to a specific set of rules and victory conditions in order to complete each stage.

nWay has announced WWE Undefeated, a new officially licenced wrestling game that blends over-the-top action with real-time strategy gameplay, and stars many real WWE superstars and legends.
